Accommodations
We offer 3 guest rooms - 2 with single beds and 1 with a queen size bed.
single room - $90 (+HST)
double room - $140 (+HST)
We are open from May 1st through to November 1st, although during the winter months if we're home we'd be more than delighted to welcome you, just give us a call. Our bedrooms are bright, airy and comfortable, offering a warm cottage feel. The private shared bath is equipped with a custom shower and heated floor. Guests are encouraged to use the living room/lounge area which is equipped with cable television and DVD player, as well as a bookcase full of movies, books and games. There is also a lovely covered verandah overlooking the garden and swimming pool, available for morning breakfasts, late afternoon tea or to just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Breakfast is usually served between the hours of 8 and 9am and Jennifer's wonderful down east cooking will get your day off to a great start. Hawthorn Cottage strives to serve local products. We are also delighted to offer our own blend of fair trade, organic and locally roasted coffee.
Wireless Internet is available throughout the property.
Check in time is 4:00 to 6:00. If you plan on arriving earlier or later please call and let us know.
Check out is 11 in the morning.
Our cancellation policy is 72 hours, or one night's accommodation will be charged to your credit card.
Hawthorn Cottage is a smoke free environment. Smoking is permitted outside.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate travelling pets. We can recommend an excellent local kennel.
